ACS is a recommended health insurance supplier of CNX-Insure. A French insurance company underwritten by Allianz.
Location:
The policy is a S.E Asian based and will cover you for any illness or accident (including motorbikes & Covid19) and their minimum coverage is $500,000 USD so well above the immigration ‘COVID’ requirement.
Travel:
If you need to travel at all ACS will issue a certificate to get you back in the country.
Coverage:
Coverage is 365 days a year in the following countries;
- Cambodia
- Indonesia
- Laos
- Malaysia
- Myanmar
- Philippines
- Taiwan
- Thailand and
- Vietnam.
Duration of stay:
You are also fully covered for stays of less than 120 consecutive days in one of the countries that belong to the European Economic Area (EEA)*
Outside areas:
Outside the above mentioned areas you get 7 weeks cover (for any one single trip) accident and Emergency treatment only. So for example this would apply in places like the U.S, Hong Kong, Singapore, Canada etc.
Claims:
Claims are settled directly by the insurer to the hospital so you don’t need to pay first and claim back later.
Hospital restrictions:
There are no restrictions on hospitals so you can use any hospital you like.

This also contains a benefits chart on pages 8 and 9 which highlights what each plan does and does not cover you for.
There are 3 plans to choose from – Bronze, Silver and Gold.
The Bronze plan is in-patient cover only, Sliver includes some out-patient and Gold has higher out-patient cover and includes things like Dental.
**All 3 plans cover out-patient treatment following an in-patient stay (follow up treatment) for the first 90 days**
Premiums are in USD and calculated per calendar year – January 1st to December 31st
You can also pay monthly at no extra charge by the insurer.
